The order is not placed
The order does not appear in the order book. First look at the message bar above the order book: the terminal almost always explains the reason. If there is no bar, see the “silent” causes.
By message

Silent causes
Section titled “Silent causes”- The volume is zero. No volume button is selected. The terminal says nothing.
- The connection is inactive. The connection card shows “Disconnected”. Click “Connect”.
- A click on a badge. A click on an existing order does not place a new one: it is dragging or cancelling.
- Clicks too fast. A repeated click within 0.3 seconds is ignored.
- The mode did not turn on. Z, V and Alt work only while held, a short press does nothing.
- You expected a market order. A click on the order book places a limit order at the row price, market orders only with the Q and W keys: Market and limit orders.
- A pending order requires live quotes, it is not placed during an outage.
- No funds on spot. The exchange replies with a code in the “Error: …” bar.
