Hyperliquid
What SmartDOM can do on the Hyperliquid decentralized exchange and how it differs from the other connected exchanges.
What is available
Section titled “What is available”Hyperliquid is connected in view mode: the order book, trade tape, clusters, chart, screener, flip screener, listings and impulses work without API keys. Connecting an account and trading on Hyperliquid are not available in this version.

|---|---|
| Markets | Perp (USDC-margined perpetual contracts) and Spot (USDC pairs) |

Where it is in SmartDOM
Section titled “Where it is in SmartDOM”- Instrument selector: exchange Hyperliquid, markets Spot and Perp.
- Screener: exchange filter, the Hyperliquid Spot and Perp checkboxes.
- Flip screener: Hyperliquid in the lists of trading exchanges and leader exchanges.
- Listings and impulses: the Hyperliquid filter appears automatically.
Instruments and names
Section titled “Instruments and names”- The catalog includes the perpetual contracts of Hyperliquid’s main market and spot pairs quoted in USDC. Contracts on stocks, indices and commodities that the exchange hosts on separate venues are not included.
- All instruments are quoted in USDC, so the names look like BTCUSDC, ETHUSDC, HYPEUSDC. On the exchange website the same instruments have shorter names (BTC, HYPE/USDC) — they are the same thing.
- The F7 switch between spot and perpetual works for coins that exist on both markets (for example, HYPE).
- Cross-exchange search and “open on all exchanges” match instruments by their USDT-quoted name, so a Hyperliquid BTCUSDC order book will not open from a BTCUSDT pair of another exchange — open it from the instrument selector or the screener.
Order book, tape and chart
Section titled “Order book, tape and chart”- The exchange publicly provides only 20 price levels per side, and sends a full snapshot of the book once every few seconds. The best bid and ask are updated in real time on top of the snapshot, so the top of the book is live while the depth is fixed: the depth modes (Maximum / Medium / Minimal) have no effect on Hyperliquid, and the empty price ladder beyond the 20th level is normal.
- The trade tape and clusters are real-time, as on other exchanges. When an order book is opened, the exchange returns only a few recent trades, so the footprint history before the opening moment is short.
- The price step on Hyperliquid depends on the price level (no more than five significant digits): 1 for BTC, 0.1 for ETH, up to six decimals for coins cheaper than a dollar.
- Chart: all timeframes from 1 minute to 1 month; second timeframes are built from trades. History depth is about 5000 candles per timeframe.
Screener and funding
Section titled “Screener and funding”- The exchange summary provides price, 24h change, turnover and funding. Funding on Hyperliquid is charged every hour; the “To funding” column shows the time until the next full hour.
- Spread, daily range (NATR 24h) and 24h trade count are not provided by the exchange summary: these columns show 0. The 24h trade count will appear as the server accumulates statistics.
- The M1–H4 windows work as usual; for rarely traded spot pairs the data appears with the first trade.
Flip screener
Section titled “Flip screener”Hyperliquid best prices arrive with a delay of about 100 ms, so the exchange can be enabled both as a trading venue and as the leader. Pairs are matched by base coin: contracts like kPEPE (a thousand coins) are matched with 1000PEPE on other exchanges.
Listings and impulses
Section titled “Listings and impulses”- Hyperliquid publishes no listing announcements, so the listings panel shows only instruments that have already launched within the last 30 days, without a countdown to launch. A delisting is marked when the instrument disappears from the exchange.
- Impulses, open interest and volume spikes for Hyperliquid come from the SmartDOM server in the same way as for other exchanges.
